I saw this one on the shelf because it's a Harvest House book, and so I picked it up. They also have a sequel at our library. This book actually turned out to be better than I thought it would. This is during the time of slavery and the underground railroad (1860s). Carrie is the daughter of a southern slaveowner and begins to question her beliefs. I look forward to reading more.
