Back when I was in college, I borrowed this book from a friend for a trip. I don't think I finished it then, but ever since, I've wanted to reread it. Watching Sahara (based on another Dirk Pitt book), made me want to more. I purchased several of this author's book at our last book sale, and then this one showed up as a new book (must be a new addition) on the shelf of the library right before our trip to CA, so I checked it out to read then. This was a great trip book, really interesting and I finished it on the plane ride home. I enjoyed that the forward mentioned what had occurred since the book was written, too.
