The Good Mood Diet: Feel Great While You Lose Weight
Another book that sounded like a nice idea to check out. She uses examples of athletes she's worked with, and talks about eating the foods that put your brain in a better mood. She advocates "Feel-Great" foods, and fish 3-5 times a week. There's a whole grid that defines what types of foods you should each with each of your 3 meals and snacks a day. I think i could actually go on this diet without the fish. She advocates flasxseed and whey protein, which seem smart. She also does more eggs than I think I'm supposed to have. But the oils (fats) are very healthy ones. She also allows for some give in the menu, like how to calculate a slice of pizza into the diet. I think that the number of meals might be a deterrent to me, but it does kinda make sense. I'd like to reread this.
