This is the book that introduced me to the idea of insulin resistance, and makes me contemplate starting to eat like a diabetic before I get to that point. The discussion of Glycemic Index makes a lot more sense when discussed on conjunction with Glycemic Load. There are a lot of great points in this book. Also, a full meal plan and recipes. This is a book I may potentially want to own.
