The top of the cubey shelves has storage of fancy boxes that I don't have elsewhere - things like old photos and memorabilia are in the boxes in the very corner, and some are empty waiting to be given as gifts. The magazine style files are for my cooking magazines, all organized by year and by magazine. The paper is some that I bought at The Container Store and just loved (both the flowers and the stripes), alternated with some green grosgrain ribbon. I also have a small container that I covered with the same papers that have my wooden tulips from Rina in them, kept in by a white plastic lei I wore the days before my wedding with the girls. The top cube also has several of the frames that match the flower arrangements on the other side.
