What does your desk/work space look like? Pictures please.

I took some pictures the other day and then didn't get a chance to put them up :)  Now they are off my camera, along with the pile of Leah's birthday pictures I'm wanting to get up too :)

I took two pictures, one of just my work area and one of my whole desk so you could see the fun things that go on.

The real story is that I work between many different places throughout the day.  Sometimes sitting in bed.  Sometimes on my couch propped up with pillows.  During meetings, I tend to walk back and forth in front of my white board.  At breakfast time, I move downstairs and then sit at the dinningroom table afterwards with my mocha for a while.  When it's really nice, I sit on the back porch in the swing.  My desk is usually where I spend a nice middle section of my day though.  The worst part about it is that there really isn't great room for my legs and my chair is just about dead.  But it's nice to be where if needed, I can use some of the tools on my Mac at the same time and have my iTunes going too.

So to anotate the picture, here's what I've got.  My new mac mini on the left side.  It's a trade up from the previous model (which is on E's desk now, now we each have macs).  My old hard drive from my PC is behind it in a crappy enclosure, only temporary, i'm still migrating.  (I have no PC of my own anymore, just my mac and the company laptop) The ipod in it's cute purple iskin is on top of the mini charging.  Then there's a real enclosure with a sexy looking see-through case.  That's my old mac drive.  I just wasn't going to have enough storage with one!

Let's see, then there's my wacom tablet.  There's not enough room for a real mouse in addition to this like I used to have, so the mouse is actually on the tablet right now.This is my second one, I completely wore the first out after many years - I'm quite a fan.  Between all that are post-its, nail files, pens, etc.

And then on the right-side is my company laptop, which is where most of my time is spent, where ever I'm at.  It's easily move-able throughout the house ;)

If you look at the big picture, you can see some of the fun things I've collected on my desk like marvin the martian (two of them) and my pretty strawberry shortcake doll.  Six Apart memorabelia (the other glass is on the other side of the room). Eeyore, and candy, too.

I used to have a corner desk with more room (see my typepad post), but we switched sides so that the couch fit.  Which I'll have to take a picture of once I clean the other side a bit more. :)
