QotD: Back where I'm from...
Soda? Cola? Pop? What do you say? Any other regional words that set you apart?
Question submitted by Gladys.
I say Pop, although for the first while that E and I were together, he made fun of it and so I got more lax and sometimes you'll hear me say soda. I get the "pop" from growing up in Michigan, I'm sure. I really hadn't noticed that nobody else called it pop until E. Isn't that weird?
Generally, it's "Cherry Coke, please" anyhow. :)
My mom always makes fun of my brother and I for how we say things like "color" and "helicopter". Color comes out sometimes like "keller", but I don't remember what we did weird with helicopter, just that she laughed at us.

I'm an exMichigander as well. I tend to say, Vernors, please!

i usually say "sweet tea, please" cause i'm southern, and that's how we roll (giggles)
Canadian here so it has always been pop. Although most Americans look at me oddly when I say it!
