QotD: Middle Name

What's your middle name? Is there a story or history behind it?

My middle name is Diane. But actually I have two middle names now - I'm "Kristine Diane Locatis Beeson". I suppose I could put this post to friends and family, but really, the whole internet knows my full name by now ;)

The story behind Diane? My parents just liked it. I was named Kristine after my mom's best friend in college; my dad liked her name spelled with a K, and so they used it for me.

I took my maiden name as my second middle name after I got married. That way, I'm always a Locatis. Best of both worlds, I got to take my husband's name and keep mine too.
