What was the highlight of your summer?

I know I can't pick just one. The summer was full, we were busy, and we did a lot of great things.
- Over a long weekend, we took a vacation to Seattle. (photos tagged seattle)
- I helped planned Lisa and Jon's wedding and then we participated in the wedding weekend. (posts tagged wedding)
- We drove a bunch:
- The summer started off with a fun drive in the gorge.
- We spent several different days downtown Vancouver.
- We went to our favorite mall that's a bit further away on several occasions, including our anniversary.
- We watched a lot of movies this summer (movies tagged netflix)
- I read more books from the library this summer (books tagged library)
- I spent a lot of time with family and watched Leah grow up, and get ready to welcome baby Leonard to the world, too.
- We had two visits from my in-laws.
- I moblogged a lot, and blogged way more than recently too. (posts tagged moblog)
- We walked more throughout the whole summer.
- I worked a lot, but I worked on Vox. And that really is awesome, I love Vox. :)
It was a good summer, no doubt! And even though I'm sad it's mostly over, thinking towards the fall and winter and maybe slowing down a touch does make me a little happy. When at the store last night, seeing apples and piles of acorn squash thinking about potato season is a happy part of the fall. And the leaves outside are just starting to change and that's pretty too. I'll miss the summer but fall's not all bad.
