At the airport. A little nap could be nice so i may try that as the 'in-flight entertainment'. :)

Here in plenty of time, walked through Powells and stuff even. E thinks it's DS time, i think i'll knit first - on plastic needles because i still worry about them taking my nice circs away!

We went on a nice long walk on Saturday.  E hadn't ever been to the park on the other side of the freeway (I-205) and so we walked over there.  Don't worry, there's an overpass, we didn't try running acrossed a major interstate or anything!

I brought my camera along and I'm glad I did, I got some pictures that I was very happy with.  These are some of my favorites:

The snake was itty bitty, we almost missed him.  He was more the size of a big worm than a snake.  And the acorns were RIGHT next to the freeway, amazing that the trees were so full of acorns so close to all the cars driving by.

We walked all the way down to Subway after being at the park, and that was a bit too long for my legs - my hip was hurting, I felt about 50 years old LOL!

But it was nice Kristine+Eric time, and perfect weather - not too hot, not too cool - and good excercise too.  Weekends are a good thing, dontchaknow?

How did you meet your best friend(s)?

I was watching some other friends play tennis one spring afternoon in college.  And they'd invited some boys to play with them.  I never played, I just sat on the sidelines on a nice mexico blanket and studied and periodically went and got the balls that went too far.  This time, there were too many people, and so they rotated.  I hadn't met the boys before, but the cute boy came and sat by me on my blanket.  I don't remember what we talked about, but I remember laughing.

Later on, the girls who knew us both said that they couldn't believe they hadn't introduced us before, that we really would match well together.

They were right, that was 8 years ago and we've been married for 6. :)  We love doing silly things together, and I look forward to the weekends for getting to just hang out together and do more silly things!
