It's the summer of movies for us, I've decided.  We have not only watched 2 movies in the theater in the last few months, but joined Netflix.  This goes way beyond our usually amount of movie viewing.

I decided that the best way to keep track of these was to tag the videos as I add them from amazon: Theater and Netflix.  That makes it easy!

I had been tracking this type of thing at collectics, one of my MT blogs.  But it's SO much easier to use Vox.  I just can't see spending the time to make collectics continue to work with MTAmazon (the old version) that keeps timing out on me anyhow.  (one of the saddest things about giving collectics up for the most part is that i love the design there!) I am curious about the netflix plugin suite, so I'll probably play with it, but right now, it's just easiest to add them here! 

So why is this so unusual that we would watch so many movies?  Well, when I was sick, I just didn't have the energy to sit in a theater for 2 hours.  So we stopped going.  And that kind of just continued on even once I was doing better.  And during the TV season, I generally have SO many series I want to watch that I don't have time to fit movies in.  It's so fun to be back in the movie/date mode!

I'm not sure if we'll continue with Netflix even once the new TV season starts.  But it sure is fun right now, and we definitely are getting our money's worth right now (5 movies so far since Memorial day weekend when we signed up).
