Tru Calling - The Complete Second Season

How is it that Fox thought they needed to cancel this series? Pick it up for a second season and then cut it off after 5 episodes? This DVD has the final episode which was never aired, and having seen it, I sure think Fox did a disservice by not airing it. It opened up a lot more avenues and fans certainly would have been wishing it wasn't how it ended, but it really had a better end than stopping with the episode about Jensen. The cast for season 2 was much more scaled back - 4 cast members and some recurring roles - and the guest stars weren't as prominent of actors as the first season (well, I take that back, William Sadler is in this set). But the storyline continued to be wonderful all the way through, and the more we learned about Jack, the more we learn about Tru, too! I loved this series, and I'm so glad to own the whole thing now so I can rewatch it again.
